Not all of us have the perfect body or skin, and that is perfectly fine. We aren’t dolls to look the same. Yet, from time to time we need to look our best – glowing skin, slimmer thighs, no zits etc.
Luckily, there are some tips that can help us get the wanted look, at least temporary. I’ll get through some of the problems and tell you how I deal with them.
Dull skin into a nice summer glow
When you have ashy or patchy skin but you need to show those legs and look the best, you only need to incorporate 3 steps. First, exfoliate. Use a nice scrub, or, if you don’t have one, either make one with coffee grains, or just use some sugar. I recommend the coffee one though because it is a bit more fine, while also providing nice exfoliation. Also, it is more hydrating. Anyway, after you exfoliate you legs, shave and then scrub again (be more gentle this time). After you’ve done this, while the skin is still damp, apply some oil and massage. Do this even if you need to dress soon. After massage just use a dampened towel to take of the excess.
This won’t be permanent, but if you need that mini dress to look awesome, apply some anti-cellulite gel and wrap your legs with plastic. Do some sit-walls or some show squats and some planks. Preferably keep doing this sport for at least 15 minutes. After, hop in the shower and you’re done. The slimming effect will last for 3-4 hours, but hey, 3 cm less is 3 cm less. 🙂
Zits in the worst places
You probably already know that you have to apply some ice cube or so to make it smaller. Sure, the idea is good, but did you know that you can use something else instead of water, for better and faster results?
Make a strong green tea (1 cup) and add 1/2 tsp of tea tree oil in it. Use this mixture for ice cubes when you have zits problems. Also, instead of apply the cube directly on the zit, put a cloth around it and press it gently on the skin for a few minutes. This works better than the cube directly and it won’t leave you with a red area around the spot.
These are what I use for body problems. Hope it helps.
